The origin of RID

We have repeatedly noted the difficulties encountered by our partners and clients in innovating and carrying out transformation projects.

Frequent pitfalls observed among our clients and partners

RID: the best tooled methodology to innovate

ANALYZING TODAY’S ACTIVITY TO IMAGINE TOMORROW’S
THROUGH A CONTROLLED PROCESS

Diagram_3stepsdet_01.png

The RID process stands in three stages:

  1. Observe the today’s activity and learn about it in building a cognitive model or an augmented human intelligence,

  2. Explore this augmented human intelligence and decide the innovation targets,

  3. Ideate, design and check that your innovative solution(s) augment the activity or the system interaction.

A STRUCTURED PROCESS LEADING TO KEY DELIVERABLES
FOR STEERING THE PROJECT

A more detailed 7-stage and X-shaped process reveals a systematic production process of innovations, supported with a digital platform.

FOCUS ON: BUILD A COGNITIVE MODEL OF PEOPLE ACTIVITY OR
SYSTEM COMPONENT’S ROLE

step2_buildAI_01.png

The augmented human intelligence is built thanks to seven questions linking two or three objects at a time. These questions are very simple, and experts and users (activity or system stakeholders) are appropriately interrogated to consolidate a systemic understanding. We use 7 semi-quantitative measurement scales to intuitively answer these questions.

FOCUS ON: RID COMPASS©, A TOOL TO VIEW AND
TO DECIDE YOUR AMBITION PERIMETER

The ambition perimeter is a set of important value buckets that people also desire, complying with strategic considerations (core competencies, brand image, expected benefits, technological and market roadmaps, easiness to develop…).
